Easy Vegetable-Beef Soup

- 1 (8 ounce) container refrigerated pre-chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 lb ground round
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Directions:
- Add beef and first 5 ingredients (the seasonings) to pot. Cook over medium-high heat util browned, stirring to crumble. Drain. Return meat mixture to pan.
- Stir in 2 1/2 cups water and remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
- Ready to eat!
